A signed skatepark authorization release and hold harmless agreement on file with the skatepark attendant. This document must be signed by a parent
or legal guardian for any participant under 18 years old.
A photo ID for season members, or a completed registration form (signed by a parent for participants under 18) for day-pass users.
Skateboard or inline skates.
Awareness of your surroundings—Keep alert to other users and loose objects (such as skateboards).
Compliance with all rules and instructions from the skatepark attendant.
Recognition of your own ability level—Choose your comfort level and skate at your own risk.
Prohibited
Smoking or chewing tobacco
Food, chewing gum, and beverages
Glass containers
Littering
Personal boomboxes
Bicycles, scooters, or motorized vehicles
Non-skaters (Exception: Parents with small children)
Makeshift ramps, boxes, rails, or other homemade obstacles or modifications to existing skatepark equipment
Profane, obscene, or abusive language
Alcoholic or intoxicating beverages
Drugs or controlled substances
Recklessness
Pets
Weapons
Horseplay, shoving, or fighting
Graffiti or stickers
Use of the skatepark unattended or after hours
Large groups of 25 or more people
Skatepark Attendant
Must check in skatepark participants at the designated entrance.
May inspect skatepark equipment and users' personal equipment for safety. Participants will not be admitted with unsafe equipment.
May deny admission to anyone acting in an unsafe manner or failing to obey rules or instructions.
May close skatepark with approval from Park and Recreation Director if weather causes unsafe conditions or for any other reason.
Must be notified of any damage to skate surface or to skatepark equipment.
