WEST GOSHEN TOWNSHIP BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING November 9, 2005
A regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors of West Goshen Township was called to order by Chairman Edward G. Meakim Jr., at 4:02 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2005, at the West Goshen Township
Administration Building. All members were present. Mr. Meakim opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
Mr. Meakim opened the floor for public comment. No comments were made.
Dr. White congratulated Mr. Meakim on his re-election as a member of the West Goshen Township Board of Supervisors in the election held on November 8, 2005.
On motion by Ms. McIlvaine, seconded by Dr. White, the Board unanimously approved the Board of Supervisors minutes from October 26, 2005.
On motion by Dr. White, seconded by Ms. McIlvaine, the Board unanimously approved the Treasurer's Report dated October 31, 2005 for the General Fund, the Sewer Revenue Fund, the Waste and Recycling Fund,
and the Capital Reserve Fund, as well as the bills to be paid from the General Fund, the Sewer Fund, the Capital Reserve Fund, and the Waste and Recycling Fund.
Lt. Joseph Gleason gave the Police Report for the month of October 2005.
Dr. White questioned Lt. Gleason about the increase in overtime for the Police and Lt. Gleason said there were extra patrols in October for such things as Mischief Night, coverage for officers who have
been injured and roving DUI patrols.
Mr. Richard Hicks, Building Official, gave the Fire Marshal Report for the month of October 2005. There were no reports for Goshen Fire Company and Good Fellowship Ambulance Company.
Mr. Hicks gave the Building Inspection Activity Report for October 2005.
On motion by Ms. McIlvaine, seconded by Dr. White, the Board unanimously approved Resolution 36-2005, setting the date of December 14, 2005 for a Conditional Use Hearing for Omnipoint Communications for a
telecommunications facility to be located at 603 Montgomery Avenue.
On motion by Dr. White, seconded by Ms. McIlvaine, the Board unanimously approved an Intergovernmental Agreement between West Chester Borough, West Goshen Township and the West Goshen Township Sewer
Authority to provide a sewer connection for 312 West Rosedale Avenue, located in West Goshen Township, to the Borough of West Chester sewer system.
On motion by Dr. White, seconded by Ms. McIlvaine, the Board unanimously approved Resolution 37-2005 setting the date of January 11, 2006 for a Conditional Use Hearing for Carroll Contractors for the
construction of twelve residential townhouses on property located at 200 Spring Lane.
Mr. Meakim opened the floor for public comment. No comments were made.
There being no further business, on motion by Mr. Meakim, seconded by Ms. McIlvaine, the meeting was adjourned at 4:09 p.m.
