WEST GOSHEN TOWNSHIP BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING March 28, 2007
A regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors of West Goshen Township was called to order by Chairman Dr. Robert S. White at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28, 2007, at the West Goshen Township
Administration Building. All members were present. Dr. White opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
Dr. White opened the floor for public comment. No comments were made.
Dr. White announced that the Board of Supervisors met in Executive Session on March 27, 2007 to discuss personnel matters.
Dr. White announced the resignation of Ms. Sharon Lynn, Township Manager.
Dr. White said that this is a big loss for the Township which will leave a void. He stated that a search will be conducted to find a replacement for Ms. Lynn. The Board congratulated Ms. Lynn on her new position and wished her well.
Ms. Lynn thanked the Board for their support and good wishes. She said that the Township is in good hands with the staff that is in place. She said that the staff is the best anyone
could have and the most professional in the area. She stated that after 31 ½ years it is hard to leave the Township but that when an opportunity presents itself, one needs to grasp it and move on.
On motion by Mr. Meakim, seconded by Ms. McIlvaine, the Board unanimously approved the bills to be paid from the General Fund, the Sewer Fund, the Capital Reserve Fund, and the Waste and
Recycling Fund.
Mr. Raymond McKeeman, Zoning Officer, opened and read the following bids for Cold in Place Asphalt Recycling and Asphalt Wearing Course Overlay for 5 miles of roadway:

On motion by Dr. White, seconded by Ms. McIlvaine, the Board unanimously approved awarding the bid to Asphalt Paving Systems, Inc., pending a review of the bids by Mr. Richard Craig, Township
Engineer.
Dr. White opened the floor for public comment.
Mrs. Evelyn Baker, 900 Sheridan Drive, asked what the previous bid was for and Dr. White explained that it was for milling the roadways and recycling the material to repave the top level of the
streets. Ms. Lynn explained that this method has been used in the Township for several years.
There being no further business, on motion by Ms. McIlvaine, seconded by Mr. Meakim, the meeting was adjourned at 4:11 p.m.
