Initial Submission of 4,999 sq. ft. addition to Kelly's Sports, Ltd., Located at 897 South Matlack Street. The Commission examined the Plan and noted that this would be the only addition left on this site.
6. COMMITTEE REPORTS and ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Commission will convene in July and possible take off for the month of August. This was Harvey Corbett's last meeting as a Planning Commissioner for West Goshen.
He is moving to West Whiteland. Bob Little wished him good luck from the Commission. Mike Bannan was appointed to temporarily fill the opening until he is approved by the Board of Supervisors to fill the incompleted term left by Harvey's move. At the same time, the Supervisors will be asked to look into resumes on file from the last opening and to select an alternate to serve the Planning Commission.
Bob White attended a meeting with the County Planning Commission concerning the Jerrehian Estate.
A possible company to make the property their Corporate Headquarters is no longer interested since they selected a site in Delaware. A letter has gone to PennDot asking about an exit onto the by-pass. Unofficially, the Township has been informed that this request is impossible. Bob White suggested that the owners do a feasibility study for ramps onto the by-pass going both north and south, either at Five Points Road or at the site of the Rt.100 spur. The commissioners thought the site would be excellent for a corporate headquarters or for a golf course or both.
Sharon offered to conduct a guided tour through the new buildings.
7. MOTION: To Adjourn the meeting at 7:25 pm. ACTION: Corbett/Diehl (7-0).
Respectfully submitted,
Nancy Boothe Higgins, Recording Secretary
