1. The meeting was called to order at 7:01 PM by Paul Spiegel with THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG.
2. Dan Rafter was named a Voting Member for the meeting in the absence of Jeffrey Laudenslager. The floor was Opened for Public Comment. There was none.
3. MINUTES
There was a question concerning what was a Condominium Unit , a building or a storage space?
MOTION: To accept the MINUTES of 3/20/2001 as presented. ACTION: Diehl/ Little (7-0).

Final Combination of Lots and Land Development Plan for a 1,912 sq. ft. addition for Weinstein Supply located at 887 Fern Hill Road and 904 Old Fern Hill Road. J. Paul Weinstein and Larry Barker were present for the Plan. The new building will not be attached to the present building but will be a wholesale show room. There were two houses shown on the plan. The two lots will be joined and one of the houses will be torn down to make room for the new building. The second house is presently owned by Susan Windle Rogers and is being rented out as a residence.
MOTION: To recommend approval of the Final Land Development Plan for Weinstein Supply. ACTION: Bannan/Little (7-0).
5. Final Subdivision Plan for an Eight-Lot Residential Subdivision for Short Brothers located at 1327 Ashbridge Road. Tom Alloy and Richard Meadows were present for the Plan. Dean Diehl
disliked the shortness of the Cul-de-Sac but acquiessed when he was told that it would save the trees at the end of the bulb. There were questions concerning how far
from the Pipeline was the building envelope of the closest lot.
MOTION: To recommend approval of the Final Subdivision Plan for Short Brothers. ACTION: Little/O'Brien (7-0).
6. Initial and Final Submission of a Land Development for a 540 sq. ft. Building Enclosure for Philadelphia Suburban Water Company.
Gary L. Brinton, PE, CET Engineering Services and Nicholas J. D'Antonio of Philadelphia Suburban Water Company were present for the Plan. The Enclosure is the size of the existing Concrete Pad. The space will be used for Storage of Treatment Chemicals and Supplies.
MOTION: To recommend approval for a 540 sq. ft. Enclosure for the Philadelphia Suburban Water Company. ACTION: Diehl/Little (7-0).
7. Sketch Plan for an 18-Lot Residential Subdivision located at 800-806 Old Westtown Road for Yarnall Enterprises.
Dave Yarnall presented his Plan which has some serious questions concerning wetlands and slopes. Mr. Yarnall said that realistically he could see 13-14 lots. The plan was turned over to the Residential Committee chaired by Jim O'Brien. The Residential Committee of the Planning Commission will meet at the site next Wednesday at approximately 6:00 PM.
8. Initial Submission of a Land Development Plan for a 4,216 sq. ft. A-Plus convenience store for Sunoco located at 1165 West Chester Pike. The existing facility will be torn down and a larger store
and gas pumps will be installed.
9. Initial Submission of a Land Development Plan for a temporary classroom addition for EN Peirce Middle
School for West Chester Area School District. These are two modular classrooms allowing 2,520 sq. ft. of additional temporary classroom space.
10. Initial Submission of a Lot Line Change for George Agle and the West Chester Golf and Country Club located at 111 West Ashbridge Street.
11. The Floor was Opened for Public Comment.
Leslie Boyko of Mercer Lane was present hoping to gain some information about the location of the New High School. She was referred to the School Board meetings.
