1. The meeting was Called to Order at 7:00 PM by Paul Spiegel, Chairman, with the PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG.
2. The Floor was Opened for Public Comment. There was none. The following were in attendance: John Windle, Marjorie P. Windle, Robin Murless and Matthew Reaney, Marjorie P. Windle.
3. MINUTES
There were corrections in No. 6: A Nextel Pole with antennae at 80'-90' is to be limited to no more than 120'.
Correction in No. 7 with Concern about creating a new district allowing a new use in I-C Industrial/Commercial District.
MOTION: To recommend acceptance of Conditional Use for a new I-C District. ACTION: Diehl/Rafter (4-3) O'Brien, Spiegel and Higgins (no's).
MOTION: To accept the Minutes of July 20, 2004 as corrected. ACTION: Rafter/ Laudenslager (7-0).
4. Final Subdivision Plan for the combination of two residential parcels for Marjorie P. Windle located at 604 South Concord Road. The Plan was reviewed.
MOTION: To recommend approval of the Final Subdivision Plan to combine two residential parcels for Marjorie P. Windle. ACTION: Diehl/Little (7-0).
5. Final Land Development Plan for a 6,500 square foot warehouse addition for Effective Shielding Company, Inc. located at 817 Lincoln Avenue.
Matthew Reaney was present for the Plan.
There will be underground seepage beds under the parking lot. There will be six new parking spaces. All Township Ordinances are met.
MOTION: To recommend approval of the warehouse addition for Effective Shielding Company, Inc. ACTION: Little/O'Brien (7-0).
6. Initial Submissions
A.
Initial Land Development for a 2,200 sq. ft. office/warehouse building for Chander Shekher located at 207 South Bolmar Street. There was a discussion about the second story overhanging parking space. A seepage bed should be recommended when the Plan is reviewed. The soil would not perk in a previous plan. There are several non-conformities already existing.
7. Committee Reports.
Jim O'Brien reported on the inspection tour of the "Commons".
They have missed their deadline by a week. A buffet awaited the group as they were led to certain rooms which were ready. The facility is a remarkable improvement for the neighborhood. The ratio is 75% female to 25% male. The University is 65% female to 35% male.
