Planning Commission Meeting
May 25, 2010

Planning Commission – Jeffrey Laudenslager, Jim O'Brien, Michael McKie, Bob Holland, Monica Drewniany, John Wildrick and Carrie Martin

Supervisor – Dr. Robert White

Administration – Richard J. Craig, Township Engineer

Chairman, Jeffrey Laudenslager, called a stated meeting of the West Goshen Planning Commission to order at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 25, 2010, at the West Goshen Township Administration Building.

Following the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, the Chairman opened the floor for public comment but there was none. The Chairman then called for approval of the Minutes of the previous meeting. On motion made by Jim O'Brien and seconded by Monica Drewniany, the Minutes from the March 16, 2010 meeting were approved unanimously, 7:0.

Final Land Development Plan:

Greenlawn Fertilizing, Inc.
Location: 1107 Saunders Ln.
Represented by: Matt Jesson

Rick Craig presented a summary of the plan to build two new warehouse buildings on the property. He went through the changes on the plan due to increases in pervious surface. Mike McKie asked the applicant about whether there was any fencing or screening between his property and the house adjacent to it. Matt Jesson responded that 9 new trees will be planted but there was not much of a line of sight between the two properties due to elevation and vegetation. After a review of the plans, no other questions were asked.

A motion was made by Bob Holland and seconded by Monica Drewniany that the plan be recommended for approval to the Board of Supervisors as submitted. Motion carried unanimously. (7:0)

Committee Reports:
There were no reports presented. The Chairman opened the floor for public comment but there was none.

Dr. White thanked those Board members who participated in the Jerrehian walk on Sat. 5/15.

There being no further business, on motion by Bob Holland and seconded by Carrie Martin, the meeting was adjourned at 7:17 p.m.
