Summer Recreation and Teen Program:  Tom Steines said he is looking forward to 2011 Summer Session.

Friends of West Goshen Parks: No meeting was held in October. The next scheduled meeting will be November 4, 2010 at 7:00 PM.

Bus Trips: Two buses are scheduled for the December 6th Radio City Music Hall trip, and three buses are scheduled for the December 11th trip to New York City. Proposed trips for 2011 include the possibility of Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC, Boston with West Chester and East Goshen, and Annapolis.

Summer Concerts:  A 6:30 PM meeting was scheduled for November 17, 2010 to wrap up this year's concert series and discuss the program for the summer of 2011.

Fall Movie Series: A new DVD player had to be purchased for the showings as the old player met its demise. There were 200 people in attendance for the September 25th showing of "Alice in Wonderland," 175 for "Iron Man 2," 100 for "Where the Wild Things Are," and 150 people for "How To Train Your Dragon."

Harvest Day: Harvest Day is scheduled for October 24th at Community Park from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, rain or shine. Music and face painting are lined up and the wagons have been secured for the event. Girl Scout Troop 496 is doing the honors of face painting this year. Park and Recreation Board members volunteering should be at Community Park at noon.
